Episode 16: Our Relationship with Personal Finances and Budgeting in our 20s

One of the most unavoidable challenges that come with adulthood is learning how to manage your own finances. We touched on one aspect of finances, credit, in Episode 12 with Vrinda Gupta, CEO and founder of Sequin. But we wanted to go more in-depth on our relationship with money as young adults in our 20s. In this episode, we discuss how our perception of money has changed over time, how our families have influenced our ideas of money, and what we’ve learned about budgeting, investing, and retirement these past few years!

“I think, like, after graduating and, you know, being paid a salary job I think I'm like even more conscious of my spendings than before. … I think it’s just because, like I just don't know what's gonna happen in the future, and I think like I'm so young that a lot of me right now is like I want to save as much money as I possibly can.”
