Episode 9: The Path to Becoming an Author with Rena Patel

In this episode we are joined by Rena Patel, a fellow Scripps alumna who graduated in 2019 with a degree in English and creative writing. In addition to being an Entertainment Law Fellow at Loyola Law School, Rena is in the process of publishing her debut novel, Here We Stand, a modern fantasy novel loosely based on the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice with influences from her own culture as a South Asian woman from an immigrant family. Listen as Rena unpacks her adulthood journey as she navigates career changes, writing a novel, and pursuing her passion projects.
